Operator Mobile Equipment (Haul Truck)

Covia is looking for a dynamic Haul Truck Driver who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Cleburne, TX location.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience within mining operations (preferably sand).
- Prior exposure to an understanding of operational equipment in sand.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment adequately.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety with previous experience in identifying and managing risks.
- Demonstrated experience contributing within a team of professionals to deliver set targets.
Responsibilities
- Operate haul trucks to transport sand, overburden, and other materials throughout the plant.
- Comply with applicable MSHA Regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and procedures applying to the worker or person that are part of a safety and health management system for the site.
- Comply with provided instructions for safety and health of supervision at the site.
- Adhere to site procedures and instructions given by management.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on assigned equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all site safety protocols, traffic patterns, and loading/unloading procedures.
- Communicate clearly with loader operators, plant operators, and supervisors to maintain efficient material flow.
- Maintain accurate load counts and documentation as required.
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance such as cleaning, fueling, and lubrication.
- Monitor road conditions within the plant and report hazards or assist with minor road maintenance when needed.
- Work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing production needs.
