About The Position
This position involves setting up and operating print, print finishing, and/or extruding equipment. It is described as an opportunity level position with significant room for growth. The role requires reading Work Orders and performing tasks as assigned by the department supervisor. Duties may include unpacking, catching, bagging, shrink wrapping, and operating digital and mechanical production equipment to create sub-assemblies or finished products. The operator is also responsible for attaching labels, packing finished goods, logging production, notifying supervisors of issues, placing finished goods on pallets, and maintaining a clean, safe work area with a focus on quality and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities
- Setup up and run print or print finishing equipment, and/or extruding equipment.
- Reads Work Orders and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
- As necessary, unpacks, catches, bags, shrink wraps, and sometimes may run digital and mechanical production equipment to produce sub-assemblies or finished product.
- Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Log production in schedule boards.
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain quality and a great attitude.
