Requirements
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- At least 3 years of experience in production in an industrial setting
- At least 2 years of experience in operating a furnace
- Must already be at Step-Up Shift Coordinator or have equivalent experience assisting in managerial duties
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Strong operational knowledge in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of degreasing and coating sections
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Share Point)
Nice To Haves
- Step-up manager experience preferred
- Metals Industry furnace operation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Taking a lead role in developing our culture along with our processes and procedures throughout each different phase of the project from construction to commissioning to full time operation
- Operating and monitoring an annealing furnace to ensure proper temperatures and process parameters are met and maintained to satisfy internal and external customer requirements
- Provide training to team members and help maintain work instructions and job safe practices to ensure the transfer of knowledge to others
- Work closely with team to react to quality defects to minimize losses
- Maintain equipment performance and reliability on the operating lines
- Ensure efficiency with operation of line equipment
- Support/Perform inspections and assistance in Maintenance trouble shooting
- Understand/Meet process conditions for running all NOES Products
- Fill in for Step-up Shift Manager
- Qualified (or ability to qualify in) all lift equipment including cranes and forklifts
