About The Position
Sets up, operates, inspects, and maintains production equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety procedures. Maintains the production schedule, communicates changes, and works from blueprints and job specifications to produce jobs in the required sequence. Tests and inspects the production process to obtain the desired final product, ensuring quality and performance. Performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs to maintain ideal operating conditions. Determines appropriate packaging and shipping containers based on job specifications. Coaches and mentors less experienced Operators and may act as a team lead. Follows building security guidelines, including proper handling of security products and waste. Inspects all materials and finished products for defects and proper labeling. Participates in ongoing training to maintain and improve skills. Assumes additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
