About The Position

This is an Operator in Training position at the NZ location. The role requires the individual to gain knowledge, skills, and abilities in water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, and wastewater treatment. The operator will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting processes, performing laboratory analysis, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring security, safety, and administrative procedures are followed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Achieve within 3 years of employment, Level 1 Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) certifications or equal as Water Operator (treatment and distribution) and Wastewater Operator (collection and treatment)
• Valid Driver's License
• CDL Learner's Permit or CDL Class "A" with Hazmat Endorsement (subject to motor vehicle record review)
• Required to obtain a CDL Class "A" with Hazmat Endorsement within 6 months from date of employment
