Requirements

  • Manufacturing or production experience with a strong understanding of floor procedures, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Experience providing work direction, training, coaching, or support to teammates; prior leadership experience is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of production goals, basic performance metrics, NCMR processes, escalation paths, and EWO requirements, or the ability to learn them.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills; able to recognize when an issue needs additional support.
  • Demonstrates Axon Values through ownership, teamwork, candor, quality-focused decisions, and a willingness to pursue improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily production plans by understanding output goals, staffing needs, quality requirements, and changing floor priorities.
  • Monitor assigned work areas, identify bottlenecks or downtime, and take appropriate action to keep production moving safely and efficiently.
  • Follow manufacturing procedures and understand when to initiate or support NCMRs, escalations, and Engineering Work Orders (EWOs).
  • Support EWO execution by communicating approved instructions, confirming the team follows the required process, and raising questions or concerns.
  • Provide operators with clear direction, coaching, and timely feedback while reinforcing safety, quality, attendance, and performance expectations.
  • Communicate professionally with operators, technicians, engineers, and L5/L4 Leads to resolve routine issues and share relevant production updates.
  • Maintain accurate handoffs and follow through on assigned actions, open issues, and shift priorities.
  • Identify recurring problems and improvement opportunities, and bring recommendations or concerns to the L5/L4 Lead or supervisor.
