About The Position

As an OPERATOR III, the essential duties & responsibilities will include: Sustaining and maintaining the duties and tasks associated with the Production Worker Position. Following all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position. Adherence to and enforcing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Sustain and evaluate bulk inventory and conveying system. A rotating shift position. Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas. Complete paperwork, inventory tracking/counting. Lead in rail car movement, including operating rail movement equipment. Unload/receive returned, finished or raw products. Load finished product (Meal Loadout). Able to step up to Leadperson role. An employee in this position will be required to wear fall protection for certain job tasks, climb stairs, and lift heavy equipment (50-lbs). This position requires working all hours, all days, holidays, etc. and will be required to cover shift based on plant needs. Before applying for an exempt, non-exempt or hourly job opportunity, you are expected to initiate a discussion and share your intentions with your supervisor. If you’ve been in your current position for more than 18 months, supervisor approval is not required. If you’ve been in your current position for less than 18 months, verbal supervisor approval is required.

Requirements

  • Must be fully trained and mastered essential duties and responsibilities associated with the PRODUCTION WORKER position.
  • Must be in good standing in regards to Safety, Environmental, and Quality programs.
  • Must currently be in good standing with the Attendance Program.
  • Required to wear fall protection for certain job tasks.
  • Climb stairs.
  • Lift heavy equipment (50-lbs).
