About The Position

Bausch + Lomb is a global eye health company focused on protecting and enhancing sight. The Operator III role involves the proficient operation of aseptic filling equipment, including line and equipment disinfection, line clearances, component transfer, and proper documentation. This position operates automated aseptic filling line equipment for ointments and basic solutions/suspensions, transfers components into the aseptic area, and maintains the production area to prevent cross-contamination. The role also includes disinfecting aseptic filling lines, operating the Continuous Particle Monitoring System, and maintaining OEE. Accurate and timely documentation in batch records is essential, as is meeting all required training in SOP, EHS, and HR. The position supports operational excellence and EHS initiatives, requiring awareness and compliance with GMP, ISO, and EHS standards. Participation in OpEx improvement initiatives is also expected.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to work quickly and under pressure.
  • Good documentation and math skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.

Responsibilities

  • Operates automated aseptic filling line equipment (ointment and basic solution/suspension).
  • Transfers components into the aseptic area.
  • Maintains production area to prevent cross-contamination (line clearance).
  • Disinfects aseptic filling lines after each run and performs line clearance.
  • Operates Continuous Particle Monitoring System
  • Responsible for maintaining OEE (system entry and standards).
  • Properly document all activities and operations correctly and on time in the batch record.
  • Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
  • Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
  • Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.
