About The Position

The Operator III - Level 1 plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of industrial equipment and processes within the facility. This position is responsible for monitoring system performance, conducting routine inspections, and responding promptly to operational issues to maintain continuous production flow. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to minimize downtime and prevent accidents. The Operator III will collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall productivity and reliability of the plant by maintaining optimal operational conditions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment operating machinery or equipment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as operation manuals and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, system alerts, and operational abnormalities to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of operational data, incidents, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior operators as needed.
