In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. This position works out of our Minnetonka location in the electrophysiology division (EP). The work shift is Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM with potential overtime. The main purpose of this role is, working under general supervision in accordance with specific procedures and practices, to perform a combination of assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies. This role performs routine assignments with detailed instructions, following general instructions for routine work and more detailed instructions for new or special activities. The Operator II performs assignments of moderate complexity, usually referring more complex problems to the immediate supervisor, lead, or more senior level personnel from within the assigned department.
