About The Position

The Operator II role will be responsible for conducting general manufacturing operations, testing of product, assembly of product, and product development activities. Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of assembly and/or manufacturing experience in the medical device industry
  • Accurately read work orders, follow production drawings, and receive instruction
  • Accurately complete all essential documents (Lab Notebooks, Device Master Records, Lot History Records, Inspection Records, and Validation Documentation)
  • Hand dexterity, including ability to work with very small pieces (some under microscope and some not) – requires patience and diligence
  • Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner.
  • Able to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, inspect, and package products following written processes
  • Read work orders, follow production drawings, and complete necessary documents
  • Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures
  • Communicate progress and report problems to Line Lead or Supervisor
  • Identify opportunities for productivity and quality improvements
  • Train other team members on an as needed basis
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated within defined timelines to minimize interruption to production lines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Support company finance, accounting, human resources, quality, regulatory, and clinical departments as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements.
