About The Position

Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly Blow Molding production activities in a Food Certified GMP/GDP environment required to maximize output and improve our overall communications. This is a growth opportunity for a detail oriented individual with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to grow within the organization.

Requirements

  • 2 years in manufacturing environment required

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently balance competing priorities
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing-pulling, and reaching throughout the entire shift.
  • Manual dexterity or fine motor skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in GMP/GPD environment preferred
  • Plastics manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clean, organized, and safe working environment and that all Good Manufacturing (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) are met.
  • Ensure hourly, daily, weekly, & monthly checklist are both completed and communicated.
  • Operate single or multiple production processes at a time including but not limited to inspecting, trimming, labeling, moving pallets, and packaging products.
  • Schedule Operators assigned to the Blow Molding Department including break times.
  • Train or ensure training for operators in the Blow Molding Department.
  • Preserve Blow Molding performance by measuring and communicating press downtime to setup techs with high urgency.
  • Be aware of and attentive to alarms and communicate them in timely manner, contacting necessary support staff if needed.
  • Monitor conveyors and bagger: Bottles are not getting jammed. No excessive scrap. Print is full, legible, and correct. Ensure baggers are at an adequate level, centered, timely changing to new roll when needed.
  • Monitor material levels and material transport to ensure hoppers stay full. Container has pellets. Vacuum tip for material draw is covered in pellets.
  • Proper shift handoff including: Captain to Captain handoff.
  • As needed: send communication to setup techs, engineers, engineering for appropriate issues.
  • Completed checklist to supervisor.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with engineering, operations and QA.
  • Help facilitate setup tech checklist communication: First shot parts get to quality Material gets put away Review checklist if supervisor is unavailable
