About The Position
This role involves operating compression presses and performing various tasks related to the production of parts. The operator will be responsible for maintaining the work area in compliance with safety, standard operating instructions (SOIs), and housekeeping requirements. Key functions include operating machinery, mixing materials, inspecting parts, troubleshooting processes, and maintaining documentation.

- Mechanical ability sufficient to troubleshoot equipment and processing problems
- High School Diploma/GED preferred

Responsibilities
- Operation of compression presses
- Performs TPM of packing cup cell to include oiling; greasing; entering, scraping and cleaning of booth.
- Mixes urethane spray according to SOI
- Operates tow motor, retrieves appropriate mold from racks and installs in press according to SOI
- Cures, buffs, paints, post cures and inspects and packages parts according to SOI
- Trouble shoots processes on the curing and spraying stages of job
- Performs first and last piece inspections
- Maintains all documentation needed for cell (TPM checklist, inspection documents, and daily chemical usage)
- Bleeds lines, flushes with toluene, and performs preventive maintenance on spraying equipment
- Monitors inventory levels of materials, completes requisitions to replenish inventory levels as necessary
