About The Position
The Operator I manufactures quality products according to work orders or other build signals while following defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging products. Some areas may require minor setup and equipment operation. The position supports Hach’s Instrument Assembly Support operations in Loveland, Colorado, and is onsite. It reports to the Area Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures with close supervision.
- Ability to develop skills for basic, repetitive, manual job activities.
- Ability to use existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks; problem-solving opportunities are limited.
Responsibilities
- Meet daily build plans for the cell area.
- Maintain product quality according to department standards.
- Follow company safety policies, including safe equipment operation, PPE use, hand tool safety, and good housekeeping.
- Cross-train on other equipment or in other areas as needed.
- Assist in training new associates as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
