About The Position

The Operator I performs basic proficient operation of packaging equipment, including manual case labeling, visual inspections, bundling, cartoning, labeling, line and equipment cleaning, line clearances, and proper documentation. The role operates automated and manual packaging line equipment while maintaining the production area to prevent cross-contamination. It includes documenting activities in batch records, maintaining required training, supporting operational excellence and EHS initiatives, and complying with GMP, ISO, and EHS requirements. The position may be available in Tampa, Florida.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
• Good documentation and math skills.
• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated and manual packaging line equipment.
• Maintain the production area to prevent cross-contamination through line clearance.
• Clean packaging lines after each run and perform line clearance.
• Maintain OEE through system entry and adherence to standards.
• Document activities and operations correctly and on time in the batch record.
• Complete and maintain required annual training, including SOP, EHS, and HR training.
• Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
• Maintain GMP, ISO, and EHS awareness and compliance within the assigned area.
• Attend and participate in operational excellence improvement initiatives, including cost reduction and OEE improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
