About The Position

Performs a variety of assigned tasks to support an efficient and accurate flow of materials on and off the finishing conveyor line.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
• High School diplomaGeneral Education Degree
• Entry level position
• Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)
• Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Responsibilities

• Prepares parts to be powder coated by masking, sanding or performing any preparation work that is is deemed necessary.
• Hangs and removes materials on and off conveyor line while adhering to company safety procedures, operate hoists/lifts as necessary to move parts.
• Inspects material on and off conveyor line for obvious defects and report scrap.
• Counts and records all parts that are hung prior to and after being put on the conveyor line.
• Assists in cleaning powder booth and performing routine maintenance as directed.
• Performs stock handling duties as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
