Vibrantz is a leading global technology provider of color solutions, performance coatings and advanced materials whose purpose is to bring color, performance, and vibrancy to life in a variety of industrial applications and consumer products. Job Function Reporting into the Production and Maintenance Supervisor, the Operator I will be based out of our Milwaukee, WI site and will be responsible for operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for 10+ hrs. daily.
  • Ability to climb stairs.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of general manufacturing safety.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Evidence of exceptional ability: Clear communication, teamwork, problem solving skills, and ability to adapt quickly to changes.

Responsibilities

  • Run mixing machines for batch mixing of material.
  • Regularly operate forklift.
  • Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations.
  • Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.
  • Housekeeping duties, such as sweeping in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant parking areas, and general clean-up.
  • Make sure all material is returned to proper containers or trash area as directed.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as required to maintain an efficient operation.
