Vibrantz is a leading global technology provider of color solutions, performance coatings and advanced materials whose purpose is to bring color, performance, and vibrancy to life in a variety of industrial applications and consumer products. Job Function Reporting into the Production and Maintenance Supervisor, the Operator I will be based out of our Milwaukee, WI site and will be responsible for operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 10+ hrs. daily.
- Ability to climb stairs.
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of general manufacturing safety.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Evidence of exceptional ability: Clear communication, teamwork, problem solving skills, and ability to adapt quickly to changes.
Responsibilities
- Run mixing machines for batch mixing of material.
- Regularly operate forklift.
- Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations.
- Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.
- Housekeeping duties, such as sweeping in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant parking areas, and general clean-up.
- Make sure all material is returned to proper containers or trash area as directed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required to maintain an efficient operation.
