About The Position

Job Function Reporting into the Production and Maintenance Supervisor, the Operator I will be based out of our Milwaukee, WI site and will be responsible for operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk for 10+ hrs. daily.
Ability to climb stairs.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of general manufacturing safety.
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Clear communication, teamwork, problem solving skills, and ability to adapt quickly to changes.

Responsibilities

Run mixing machines for batch mixing of material.
Regularly operate forklift.
Regularly move raw materials from warehousing to blending operations.
Track and record dosage, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues.
Housekeeping duties, such as sweeping in maintenance, production, warehouse, and plant parking areas, and general clean-up.
Make sure all material is returned to proper containers or trash area as directed.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as required to maintain an efficient operation.
