About The Position

Wharton-Smith, Inc. currently has immediate openings in the Central Florida area for an Operator (Heavy Equipment) position. Job Description: Operates heavy equipment including, but not limited to, backhoes, material handlers, excavators, dozers, and loaders for use in foundation excavation, site grading, material placement and pipe laying. Requirements

Certification as required by OSHA or Manufacturer for specific pieces of equipment.
Must have transportation to get to job site.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma and on-the-job training preferred.
Experience working in the construction industry preferred.
Valid Driver’s license preferred. This position will required travel throughout the NE Florida area.
Rigging training preferred.
