About The Position

The Operator – Forklift 1 is responsible for safely moving product using powered industrial equipment. The position is in the Louisiana Division and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with weekends and holidays as needed. The role follows UNITED safety policies and warehouse operating procedures, and may include other appropriate duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Use personal protective equipment as required by the position and comply with UNITED safety policies.
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance within Company guidelines.
• Maintain the safety and security of Company assets.
• Be able to use all Company-provided resources and technology.
• Have less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be willing to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as required.
• Be able to work with all functional team members.

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment while following UNITED safety policy.
• Verify incoming and outgoing product, full goods, and raw materials.
• Stack loads properly.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Perform daily forklift inspections.
• Correctly rotate product and materials.
• Follow all warehouse operating procedures.
• Perform appropriate duties assigned by management.
