In this role, you will support and ensure safe, environmentally responsible, and reliable operations of our East Tank Farm (ETF) facility located within the Wood Buffalo Region.

Requirements

Field operations experience, working in a tank farm or terminal, refinery or oil and gas facility
A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment and that procedures are followed
Perform plant operation duties for smooth and efficient operations and ensure shift handovers are well communicated
Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner
Conduct operator rounds, equipment checks, issuing permits, conduct sampling involving climbing and outside for extended periods of time
Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs
Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning
Maintain housekeeping at a high level to ensure a safe work environment
