Responsibilities
- Operates machine to cut out parts of various specified shapes and sizes from different types of materials.
- Proofread and understand all paperwork.
- Positions dies into machine, inserts shims between die and push plate to set specified gap, and locks dies into position, using wrenches.
- Places rolls of material in feed holders, turns knobs to synchronize action of feed rolls with die, and threads end of material through feed rolls and die for cutting.
- Starts machine and inspects sample cuts to determine conformity to specifications.
- Follow production quality standards, including food safety, product appearance, product cost, and production efficiency in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local guidelines.
