Safely sets up, operates, and monitors bag machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals. This role involves completing bag machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. The operator will monitor the production process, inspect and test materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met. Responsibilities also include verifying and tracking all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently. Additionally, the role involves training and guiding machine assistants and new crew members, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The operator will complete all necessary documentation and collaborate effectively with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address potential issues. The ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients is essential.
