Requirements

Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Class 5 driver's license and able to provide copy of driver's abstract is required.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
Must be able to work an On-Call schedule.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, responsible for spooling the cable as it is pulled from the field site hole.
Works closely with the Service Operators and Service Supervisors in the installation of the cable into the field site hole.
Loads, performs pre-trip inspection, transports cable spool from the shop to the field site location and rig up.
Responsible for unloading cable at the shop and reloading for next trip.
Prepares paperwork to include DOT requirements, IFTA reports, billable and non- billable hours and mileage.
Completes training on safety, cable shop procedures and learn about installations from field trips.
Handles pull of cable on to the spool at the field site location.
Develops a basic understanding of energy industry activities and artificial lift products and services at the shop and well site.
Learns all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application.
