About The Position

Responsible for the safe operation of a specific piece of equipment used in the manufacturing of components and/or finished products for internal and external customers as needed based on daily production schedules. This role involves maintaining daily communication with Quality Control, the Department Manager, and other department employees to ensure all customer needs are met. The position operates within a typical manufacturing environment with potential exposure to temperature fluctuations.

Requirements

High school education or GED.
Basic computer knowledge and the ability to use computerized equipment in daily operations.
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime.
Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Must have the ability to read and interpret a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

Prior machine experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Must be able to read and complete the labeling process.
Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe working environment.
Must be able to operate the machinery proficiently according to customer specifications and the daily production schedule.
Conducts quality checks to ensure product meets all specifications.
Monitors the equipment to make sure that downtime is kept to a minimum.
Inputs pertinent data into the SAP system.
Must be forklift certified.
Must be able to make machine adjustments when necessary.
Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure.
Assists with inventory, as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
