Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3 months of related manufacturing or food production experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (verbal and written)
  • Basic math skills, including percentages
  • Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and temperature/scaling systems
  • Ability to pull mixing bowls weighing up to approximately 1,000 lbs. with wheels

Nice To Haves

  • Previous bakery or food manufacturing experience
  • Experience leading or training team members
  • Working knowledge of GMPs and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Experience with production documentation and data recording
  • Strong problem-solving skills under time and production pressures

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily Mixing Department operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure dough batches are prepared accurately to time, temperature, and quality specifications
  • Assign, monitor, and guide team members to meet performance and production expectations
  • Maintain ingredient availability, inventory accuracy, and FIFO compliance
  • Monitor dough quality through visual and physical inspection to ensure consistency
  • Ensure accurate, timely completion of all production records and documentation
  • Promote and uphold food safety, sanitation, GMPs, and safe work practices
