About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including order processing, pallet building, and inventory movement. The associate will utilize RF technology and WMS systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in handling customer orders and shipments. Safety, security, and quality are paramount, and the associate must adhere to all company procedures and training requirements. Cross-training is expected to support other warehouse positions as needed.

Requirements

High School diploma, GED or 2 years of relevant experience required.
Experience with MHE, including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker.
Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification to meet BD guidelines.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
General distribution knowledge.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.
Pick, pack, and process orders using RF technology.
Maintain an acceptable and clean work area according to SOP and work instructions.
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Complete necessary RF device training.
Perform accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
Build pallets by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
Re-palletize products for shipment.
Operate dock manifest duties, including scanning completed pallets and using the shrink wrapper.
Transport pallets using Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.
Ensure safe loading/off-loading of pallets to prevent damage.
Complete assigned duties in a timely manner according to department standards and procedures.
Operate the parcel manifest station.
Complete transportation documentation.
Follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and adhere to proper operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain current status in C2C training modules.
Operate material handling equipment safely and report any damage or maintenance issues immediately.
Maintain equipment certification.
Perform job activities in a safe manner and in accordance with safety requirements.
Assist in maintaining warehouse security and promote a safe environment.
Report all injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards, or conditions immediately.
Report any suspicious persons or activity.
Understand organizational quality goals.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times.
May be provided with Hazmat training.
Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of other warehouse positions.
Assist as required and act as back up during absences or vacations.
