About The Position
The Operator 2 – Spray Tractor plays a vital role in keeping our crops healthy and productive. This position is responsible for operating tractors, applying crop protection chemicals and fertilizers, and ensuring proper recordkeeping.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 months of agriculture experience, preferably with chemical application knowledge.
- Experience working with implements and GPS preferred.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safety and performance.
- Load and transport filled chemical tanks as needed.
- Apply crop protection sprays, compost, and fertilizers.
- Record chemical applications in the Trimble system to communicate safe re-entry dates.
- Follow all company policies and food safety requirements.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
