Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 2nd Shift Tape & Reel Operator. Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write in order to understand production documents
- Ability to multi-task is required
- Basic math skills required
- Computer skills required
- Close attention to detail skills required
- This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”

Responsibilities
- Set up and run multiple automatic and manual tape & reel machines per the instructions on the work document
- Monitor and adjust automatic and manual tape & reel and peripheral equipment as necessary
- Report down time on equipment to Supervisor/Technician
- Prepare proper paperwork and labels for the reels
- Organize work in order of due dates to ensure they progress on schedule
- Train new hires and transfers within the department
