Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and timekeeping skills
- Ability to make logical decisions in a production environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, or drag up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in environments that may be cold, hot, wet, dusty, or noisy
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production facility
- Experience operating packaging or production machinery
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and food safety practices
- Experience working in a team-based manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment to maintain a continuous and efficient flow of finished goods
- Ensure all products meet safety, legality, quality, and company specifications
- Perform metal detector checks and labeling verification in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and shipping teams to minimize downtime and waste
- Maintain accurate, complete, and legible production and quality documentation each shift
- Support efficient changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following GMPs and safe operating procedures
