About The Position

We are seeking an Operator 2, bakery to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 2, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring mixing and automated production equipment to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and production standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production operations through equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance support, and adherence to established recipes and production schedules.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Equipment and product knowledge.
Basic equipment and product troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Strong communication and observational skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in food manufacturing environments.
Experience operating automated production equipment.
Knowledge of production schedules, recipes, and process controls.
Preventive maintenance support experience.

Responsibilities

Operate and adjust mixing and production equipment to ensure product quality and specification compliance.
Monitor food products and equipment performance to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and operational records.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Support production schedules, changeovers, recipes, and daily operational goals.
Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas and equipment.
