About The Position

Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.

Requirements

  • Know how to enter information into daily logbook.
  • Know and understand all SOP’s and Procedures related to each task.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Forklift Operation.
  • Keep certification current for all types of forklifts.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all GMP (Good Manufacturing practice) and product safety requirements.
  • Check the Overtime Coverage Board and sign up for coverage shifts.
  • Enter information into daily logbook.
  • Ensure pallets are stacked neatly and check for product on bags or pallet.
  • Run batch locator after each lot to ensure no Production Errors.
  • Operate Pallet Inverter.
  • Unload Rework/Blending (Scan WM to IM).
  • Scan and confirm pallets (Scan confirmation of pallet, put away from production, print bin sheet, reverse confirmation and batch locator).
  • Replace Stretch Wrapper & Top Sheet/Troubleshoot Stretch Wrapper.
  • Load/Straighten Slip Sheets and Moisture Barrier Chipboard.
  • Load Pallets on Trailer using Stagger method and Dock Door Pillows.
  • Perform Dock Doors and Trailer Inspections.
  • Operate Lantech-Wrapper Stretch Wrapper.
  • Operate Palletizer conveyor.
  • Operate Manual Stretch Wrapper.
  • Band Cardboard.
  • Follow standard work around light curtains and conveyors.
  • Straighten and Stack Pallets on Pallet Dispenser.
  • Restack Pallets.
  • Operate Forklift, GemOne, in designated forklift area.
  • Put up AP damage in designated area.
  • Clean under and around stretch wrapper conveyors and warehouse floor.
  • Empty trash cans in Auto Pack.
  • Change out totes (Overs & Trash on backside of each line).
  • Remove Operators Damaged Pallets at each line.
  • Check Hoffman tote and filter.
  • Run BIN sheets for all new trailers and ensure they are corrected.
  • Clean area after dumping.
  • Sweep twice per shift.
  • Clean forklift.
  • Empty Cram-a-Lot when full.
  • Print labels and label pallets if they don’t generate automatically.
  • Make Bartender labels if SAP goes down.
  • Change labels and ink thermal transfer rolls.
  • Assist with master sanitation cleaning list.
  • Help with big bagging and dumping as needed and clean area up after dumping.
  • Keep up with Workday learning/Stop Audits.
  • Check in with lead to see what needs to be done.
  • Work together with your team and relief to improve AutoPack.
  • Keep certification current for all types of forklifts.
  • Clean during any idle time.
