About The Position
Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 1, Bakery to join its Cayce, South Carolina bakery. The role supports the packaging process by operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safe and efficient production operations. It contributes to delivering bakery products that meet production, food safety, and customer standards. This is a first-shift position scheduled from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with weekend availability required. The work takes place in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and may involve hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production demands.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud environments.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust packaging equipment to ensure products meet specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the packaging process.
- Package bakery products using manual and automated processes to meet production goals.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with GMP and safety standards.
- Communicate equipment, quality, safety, and production concerns to appropriate team members.
- Support efficient production by following schedules, running orders, and established procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational and performance objectives.
