About The Position

The Operations position is primarily responsible for ensuring sufficient stock levels of an assigned area of the Golf Shop, ensuring all service meets Club standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience demonstrating proficiency in developing or communicating order quantities is preferred.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages product supply levels to decrease resupply time while ensuring merchandise is delivered to appropriate display.
  • Communicates necessary resupply quantities by size, style and color with the Assistant Supervisor.
  • Directs Tournament Merchandise Stockers to open storage cartons, prepare merchandise for presentation and deliver merchandise to the appropriate display.
  • Assists in ensuring the safety, cleanliness and presentation of a specified retail and/or storage space.
  • Addresses patron or employee questions or concerns in accordance with department procedures and reports any suspicious activity to the Assistant Supervisor.
  • Provides department management with recommendations for improvement, when applicable.
  • Serves as liaison between Tournament employees and Assistant Supervisor or department management, when directed.
  • Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all Club business.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to upholding professional standards in the work environment.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by management deemed to be an integral part of the job.
  • Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
  • Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
