True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s Quality Assurance Team based out of our facility located in our St. George, NB facility. Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. As a result of our robust growth, we are seeking an Operations Yield Specialist to join our Production and Maintenance teams in our St. George location.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined and/or possessing an electrical background.

• Understanding of how production lines and machinery should run.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) considered an asset; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties while production is running to ensure consistent line efficiency.
• Change spare parts as required and as trained.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities, including sharpening knives, greasing components, and replacing spare parts in alignment with the preventive maintenance program.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends when needed, to complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform work that may involve standing for extended periods, occasional climbing, lifting/carrying 1–15 lbs., and push/pull tasks up to 10 lbs.
