About The Position

DuPont's Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin facility, DuPont™ PPC™, is a flagship packaging manufacturing site located in the Greater Chicago/Milwaukee region. This facility operates 35 extrusion lines around the clock, producing commodity plastic bags, converted pouches and bags, as well as monolayer and coextruded films. Requirements

  • 8 years relevant experience in Manufacturing such as: EHS, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Reliability, Technology, HR, Finance and Continuous Improvement
  • 2 years’ experience in direct people leadership
  • Experienced Six Sigma/Lean practitioner with demonstrated results
  • BS, Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, preferred; Business or Finance degrees considered for low hazard plants

Nice To Haves

  • APICS CSCP or CPIM Certification preferred

  • Demonstrate financial accountability and rigor to deliver against plan and gain value from assets and investments by pulling the right levers to manage expenses, margins, etc.
  • Establish and communicate challenging performance goals, metrics and outcomes for Unit to safely and efficiently meet or exceed production and quality goals aligned to customers’ needs
  • Hire, retain and develop talent to meet current and future capabilities; Promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment; Coach and provide performance feedback to team members to align on expectations and overall team effectiveness; Use reward and recognition to drive the right behaviors and results
  • Promote commitment and ownership to Operational Excellence by engaging team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, eliminate waste and remove barriers; Use lean and digital tools effectively
  • Collaborate across functions (R&D, Supply Chain, EHS, Engineering, Finance, Quality, etc.) to align resources, eliminate inefficiencies and deliver value
  • Interact in a timely fashion with customers, community, regulatory and media to maintain strong external relations
