About The Position

The Operations Training Specialist will create, prepare, conduct, and maintain training on operational related topics, including traveling to branches and departments to provide in-person training, conference calls, and webinars/online training. This role involves scheduling and holding training to ensure new hires and internal transfers are obtaining the necessary training while validating that learning application is occurring and progressing. The specialist will evaluate information obtained from Retail Banking and Consumer Lending Operations to identify training opportunities, making changes, modifications, and implementations within procedures/policies/regulations, as well as recommending efficiency improvements for training. Additionally, the role includes creating and publishing training materials, handouts, tools, and other resources, applying a periodic review system to ensure all training remains compliant and current.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in retail banking and consumer lending.
  • Reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time and requires ability to work and operate computer applications and equipment.
  • Able to perform essential responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, human resource development, organizational development, education, or a related field.
  • One year of experience conducting or developing training.
