About The Position

The Operations Training Manager will be the primary focal point for training programs within electronics operations. This person may also be called upon to help with the generation and review of standard operating procedures, with an eye towards removing human error. This is a unique opportunity within the fast-growing electronics industry, supporting the largest and most technologically advanced semiconductor factories in the world.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in the Air Separation process with 5 years of operations experience.
  • Minimum 4 years technical work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training.
  • Candidate must be a highly organized self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (both orally and written), with an ability to deal with multiple levels of the internal organization, suppliers, and customers.
  • This is a central support role; the candidate must be able to work across organizational lines to accomplish their goals.
  • Travel up to 25% normally, although could be higher during project execution or production issues. Carrying a cell phone and availability to plant personnel for off hours assistance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on plant operations experience, and experience in the semiconductor industry or equivalent high purity applications is required is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and or modify Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's) and Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP's) as necessary to support plant operations and maintenance.
  • Develop and complete training for site personnel on SOP's, SMP's, Operations Alerts, Incident Investigation summaries and or any other communications that may offer operational benefits to the personnel on site.
  • Develop knowledge verification tests for identified tasks, SOP's and SMP's.
  • Develop and execute drills on operational related SOP's and SMP's.
  • Develop and implement ASU specific related training by transferring knowledge from person and or subject matter experts into a format to support Linde Electronics sites.
  • Implement a formal Operator Certification Program for new hires and requalification of existing.
  • Investigate and implement industry leading training methods and technologies.
  • Interface with national and regional training groups for inclusion into established national training programs.
  • Identify training content that needs updated or developed based upon day-to-day operations and or events as required.
  • Identify skill gaps and in conjunction with site management create plans to address.
  • Identify and qualify trainers based on their subject matter expertise
  • Travel as required to support training efforts. This may involve travel to other Linde sites, vendor sites, etc.
  • Work some off hours to train site personnel working "night" shifts.
