Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong interest in agricultural supply, operations management, and leadership development.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and perform tasks at heights and in confined spaces, following safety guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Flexibility to work overtime (some nights and weekends) as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate/bachelor’s degree, military experience, or previous work experience in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred.
  • Ability to relocate for future assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to operate and maintain facility machinery safely and efficiently facilitating product receipts and shipments.
  • Gain essential skills for proper fertilizer handling processes and implement plant safety controls to protect our team and customers.
  • Support commodity procurement activities, learning logistics fundamentals critical to facility management.
  • Work closely with management to gain experience in customer service and take on customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Develop an understanding of how operations and sales functions intersect and impact overall business performance.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, environmental issues, or system deficiencies to the Terminal Manager, supporting proactive safety management.
  • Take on increasingly independent responsibilities as you develop, including managing employees, scheduling, and project management to prepare for future roles as an Assistant or Location Manager.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and assist customers as needed.
  • Maintain records for all incidents according to health and safety standards.
  • Recommend process improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Assist the Terminal Manager with team development and training.
