About The Position

A high-caliber Operations Technology & Data Manager will oversee the technical infrastructure and data strategy for our premier food service program at a Key Account Client in the US. They will be responsible for leveraging data to optimize the food program while vetting and implementing cutting-edge food-tech platforms. This role is critical in transforming operational, ESG, and business data into clear, actionable insights. This position is highly cross‐functional, partnering with operations, ESG, finance, culinary, and marketing teams to ensure that data is presented in digestible, and compelling formats while upholding rigorous compliance and reporting standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, IT project management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management or operations analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau/PowerBI, Looker, Google Data Studio, and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to identify trends in large data sets and turn them into operational improvements. Experience with data cleaning, feature identification, and building intuitive visual dashboards.
  • Comfortable discussing API integrations, network security, and cloud architecture with technical engineers. Ability to work with AI‐based tools to enhance reporting outputs.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong visual storytelling skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, "fail-fast" environment where innovation is encouraged. Ability to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a desire to continuously learn new tools and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators, recurring reports, and ad‐hoc analyses that simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
  • Develop visualizations that clearly communicate trends in operations, customer experience, ESG metrics, and business performance.
  • Ensure data accuracy by validating, cleaning, and reconciling datasets as part of monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
  • Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for the executive leadership team and the client.
  • Use AI‐assisted reporting and summarization tools to streamline workflows and enhance data clarity.
  • Apply basic machine‐learning–assisted techniques (e.g., trend detection, sentiment analysis) under the guidance of technical partners.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle (vetting, testing, and deployment) of food service technologies for system implementation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for third-party software vendors, ensuring SLAs are met and platforms are optimized for the client environment.
  • Serve as the first line of support for high-level technical issues within the tech stack.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration by acting as the technical translator between our Corporate IT department and Client’s Internal IT/Security teams.
  • Ensure all software and hardware deployments comply with our internal and client’s strict data privacy, and networking security protocols.
  • Manage the integration of food service hardware within the corporate networks.
