Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- All applicants mut pass pre-employment hands-on assessment
- A valid NJ Driver’s License
- Must be available for standby responsibilities and emergency work when required.
- This is a DOT-covered position and will be subject to random drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Completing all phases of core utility work regarding customer service and meter and gas pressure regulator installations.
- Conducting leak investigations and responding to emergencies of any nature.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining distribution mains and services.
- Operating mechanical equipment.
- Other duties as defined by the CBA for the Street/Utility Job Family.
