The Operations Technician II is responsible for high quality assembly and potting of Sea-Bird Scientific instrumentation, with a primary focus on ECO V1, ECO V2 (Environmental Characterization Optics), and related sub-assemblies in production and service environments. This role is centered on precision potting processes and requires hands-on experience working with epoxy, strict adherence to process controls, and exceptional attention to detail. The Operations Technician II is expected to collaborate with cross functional teams, escalate issues when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on yield and efficiency. Success in this role requires strong focus, consistency, and ownership of the potting process, along with effective communication and a team-oriented mindset. Flexibility and the ability to support shifting priorities across product lines are also essential.
