About The Position
The Operations Technician I position is an entry level position for generic lab responsibilities. Operations technicians play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of a facility or organization. They are responsible for a wide array of duties, from general building maintenance to shipping and receiving. This individual will need a CDL and understand shipping and receiving procedures. They will be instructed on their daily activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forktruck
- Basic knowledge of electricity and measuring equipment
- Basic working knowledge with computers
- Safe and certified fork truck operation.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including loading, unloading, and shipment tracking.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with foundational understanding of electricity and measuring equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate strong listening and learning skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (PLEX experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to promote a positive team environment.

- Possesses Mechanical Background
- Prior construction experience is helpful.
- PLEX experience is helpful

- 2 years’ experience in automtoive and/or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Fork truck driving
- Loading, unloading and tracking of shipments
- Performs other duties as necessary
