About The Position
At Gateway Services, we help families through one of life's most difficult moments by providing compassionate pet aftercare services. As an Operational Team Member, you'll help ensure every pet entrusted to our care is treated with dignity, respect and attention to detail. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll make a meaningful difference for veterinary partners and pet families every day. No previous industry experience is required, we'll provide all the training you need to succeed. This position is starting as a temporary position and will be in our packaging dept.
Requirements
- Enjoy hands-on, physical work.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Be comfortable working around deceased pets.
- Take pride in doing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Operate cremation equipment following established procedures.
- Process and package cremated remains with accuracy and care.
- Create memorial products such as paw prints and keepsakes.
- Perform quality checks to ensure every order is completed correctly.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Work with teammates to meet daily production goals.
