About The Position

Curries, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is growing and is recruiting for several Operations or Manufacturing Team Members for their facility based in Mason City, Iowa. The role involves playing a key part in the production process of hollow metal doors and frames, working collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an opportunity to learn and develop skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent / Technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or construction preferred, but not required.
• Ability to carry 5-30 pounds without assistance
• Ability to use hand tools, read shop drawings and accurately use a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions (both written and orally) in English
• Available to work overtime when business demands require

Responsibilities

• Operate or learn to operate machinery and equipment according to meet daily production needs while maintaining quality expectations and safety standards.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying and addressing any defects or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for optimization.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required.
• Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
• Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
