About The Position
As the Operations Team Lead for our Home Delivery segment, you will be the driving force behind our "last mile" success. You will manage the daily execution of high-volume delivery operations, ensuring that goods move seamlessly from our facility to the customer’s front door. This role is a blend of frontline leadership, vendor management, and proactive problem-solving to ensure every delivery is safe, on time, and exceeds customer expectations.
Requirements
- High volume delivery operations management
- Vendor management (independent contractors and third-party carriers)

- HSSE and OSHA compliance
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the dispatch and routing of delivery teams/haulers to ensure 100% completion of the daily schedule.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), and service quality scores.
- Manage relationships with independent contractors and third-party carriers, ensuring they adhere to Maersk’s high standards for safety and professionalism.
- Act as the point of escalation for delivery issues, resolving customer complaints or damage claims with speed and empathy.
- Enforce strict adherence to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards and OSHA regulations within the facility and in the field.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training delivery teams to maintain a high-performing and scalable workforce.
