About The Position

Zedcor is hiring a detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to join our growing team. This position focuses on supporting our time-lapse video production workflow, ensuring high-quality imagery is captured, reviewed, produced, and delivered to clients. The role combines technical support, video post-production, quality assurance, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is organized, technically proficient, and has a keen eye for detail. They enjoy working with both technology and people while maintaining a high standard of quality throughout every stage of the project lifecycle. This is an in-office, desk-based operational role, requiring consistent use of computer systems to configure cameras, monitor performance, and maintain accurate records. Success in this position depends on both strong situational judgment and above-average computer proficiency, including the ability to input and manage data accurately.

Requirements

  • Experience with video editing and/or video post-production workflows.
  • Familiarity with time-lapse photography or video processing.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle differences between images and video output.
  • Experience creating and managing support tickets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to support both internal technical teams and external clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional experience in Video Post Production.
  • Experience with camera systems, video surveillance, or imaging technologies.
  • Familiarity with image quality assurance and visual inspection workflows.
  • Experience writing and executing PowerShell scripts.
  • Experience supporting field technicians during installations or deployments.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals related to IP cameras and video systems.

Responsibilities

  • Compare newly generated images and videos against previous outputs to identify changes, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
  • Perform video post-production tasks, including editing and preparing deliverables.
  • Assist on-site technicians with camera setup, configuration, and view adjustments.
  • Configure camera-side settings.
  • Review time-lapse and video footage to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and operational procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and technical support for internal teams and clients.
  • Manage communications, including client correspondence and project sign-offs.
  • Create, track, and manage support tickets.
  • Collaborate operations teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure timely communication with clients.
