About The Position

ESFM is the corporate facilities management (FM) division of Compass Group USA. This position is responsible for providing hands-on facility support, overseeing light maintenance activities, managing vendors, and handling financial obligations. This role contributes to the overall success of on-site ESFM operations by demonstrating professionalism and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience as a hands-on facility or light maintenance coordinator in an office or similar environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee light maintenance duties across the facility.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance services, repairs, and janitorial operations.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement and ensure timely, safe completion of repairs.
  • Develop, maintain, and track the annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule.
  • Prioritize and oversee all facility-related work as needed.
  • Manage operational budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Implement corrective actions when variances occur.
  • Maintain an out-of-scope work log and manage approval processes for additional expenditures.
  • Supervise assigned staff, including hiring, payroll administration, work assignments, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide technical guidance and assist with troubleshooting utilities-related issues.
  • Lead team meetings and maintain clear communication with the ESFM team and Client.
  • Manage employee overtime and leave in compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct monthly safety audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, training requirements, and company standards.
  • Compile information for weekly and quarterly Client presentations.
  • Manage the CMMS portal by assigning, tracking, and closing work orders.
  • Approve site invoices and submit monthly expense reports.
  • Keep Client teams informed of all safety matters, repairs, and work progress.
  • Develop and maintain daily activity logs and conduct regular meetings to review work status.
  • Manage Client audits, ensure documentation is prepared, and communicate requirements to cleaning staff.
  • Attend all required Client and site meetings on time.
  • Adhere to all ESFM policies and procedures.
  • Avoid personal gain from client interactions and comply with management directives.
  • Ensure ESFM rules and regulations are consistently followed on site.
