About The Position

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Operations Support Engineering summer internship opening at our PACCAR Parts Distribution Center in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with industry professionals, gaining exposure and experience in multiple departmental projects. Learn first-hand from top industry professionals, work directly with Managers and Senior Managers, develop mentoring relationships with industry leaders, and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Relevant coursework or prior internship experience desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Self-motivation and energetic personality
• Team-oriented
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong PC Skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Categorical Data desired
• Students currently enrolled in college, junior or senior standing preferred

Responsibilities

• Support improvements under the guidance of the Operations Innovation Project Manager
• Identify requirements and execute action plans for on-going projects
• Research and develop innovative hardware and leading-edge technologies to support PDC operations
• Collaborate and assist in project implementations
• Support Distribution Center focused systems and projects
