About The Position

The Zurn Elkay Operations & Supply Chain Internship offers a great opportunity for exposure in a hands-on learning environment. You will have the opportunity to develop a variety of technical, business, and leadership skills during the assignment. The intern will support key projects focused on material flow, workplace organization (5S), and supply chain analytics. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while helping improve efficiency, inventory management, and operational performance through data-driven recommendations. As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following: Networking Events – Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders. Coaching and Mentoring – You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you regular feedback. Real Work Experience – Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a major in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
Must have at least a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or above
Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
Efficient and detail-oriented
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

Assist with material flow studies to identify opportunities to improve the movement of materials throughout the facility.
Collect and analyze operational and supply chain data using Excel and other reporting tools.
Develop reports and dashboards to track inventory, productivity, and supply chain performance metrics.
Support inventory accuracy initiatives, cycle counts, and warehouse improvement activities.
Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on reducing waste and improving efficiency.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Support 5S projects, creating visual controls, and participating in workplace audits.
